More Information about Rich Douglass
I live in a small town called Cortland in Southeast Nebraska
I am interested in Kite Aerial Phtography and have several examples in the photo gallery. The College Students have taken over 3000 photos using KAP techniques. One camera fell about 400 ft from a broken kite string, but survived. It was used for at least 12 months after that accident.

Our Computer Lab in Ford Hall at Southeast Community College in Beatrice is where we hone our Site Specific Agricultural skills

The College students learn to make yield maps and application prescription maps using VISION and AGRIS. These tools have been provided by WAG and AGRIS for the purpose of training more Precision Agriculture "Champions".

Kite Aerial Photography was identified by students as a possible tool for helping to interpret our yield maps and to support our training in becomming an excellent crop scout. Credit goes to Dr. James Aber from Emporia State in Kansas for the tutoring he provided to get us started with Kite Aerial Photography.

We also host a Progress show for sheep, called the SCC Lamb Classic. June 23, 2001 at noon is when the weighin is complete for this year's show.
